Dunhill specially formulates their flints for their lighters, so it is important to know which model you have and what flint is correct for it. 

The general rule is that Rollagas models require Red flints while all other models require Blue flints.  However some older Dunhill models may also require a Red type flint. 

Substituting other brands of flints is not recommended. Some other brands of flints will fit but are a much harder grade and will likely only spark in a Dunhill with great force and may damage the mechanics.
